EVGA 470 SC No high flow bracet and backplate

Im not happy with this as ive been waiting a long time for these to come back into stock,i ordered 2 of the EVGA 470 SC with high flow bracket and backplate and when i opened the box about 20 mins ago i have been sent just the normal SC model and now on the ocuk webpage the decription has changed why was this not picked up before they where put on the shop?

I have sent a webnote so ill wait to see what they say:mad:also started a thread on the EVGA forums in case anybody else get`s caught out like me.

I had this issue a couple of months ago. was offered a refund as the backplate version was not stocked.

tbh I just ordered the backplate & bracket from evga's site for £20 - also I get to keep the bracket & backplate if it ever needs rma. For the cost of returning the card (£10) and extra £10 got me both accessories.
 
Only problem is i need 2 backplates and backets so that about £50 extra i would need to pay on top of these cards,as for me having to send them back that`s a nono as its the shops fault for putting the wrong imfomation on their site as my invoice say`s they come with backplate and bracket.

Guys, its a genuine mistake on these, the units supplied were standard SC models not high flows, however Im trying to see if I can get some High flow brackets to sort the issue for you.

Nothing underhand or sneaky going on here, just a mix up on the codes.

Bear with me, Im working with Gibbo to get a fix on this.

If there is enough demand on High flows im sure we can get them

Thanks for the help but its not just the high flow bracket there is also no backplate if i had to buy them from EVGA Europe im looking at about £50 delivered for 2 high flow brackets and 2 backplate`s.

As the fault is not mine the shop will have to pay for these to be picked up if i want to return them at no cost to myself,if i can get a small refund to help pay towards the backplates and high flow brackets then i`ll keep them.


Also no mafia 2 game i can see and nothing about it on the box.
And last but not lease the code on the end of the card AR is a US code the europe code should be ER.
 
Hi there

Had a word with EVGA as we ordered the high-flow models but they shipped the partcode without.

Ammended website to prevent any future dissapointed sales. Have requested EVGA send us some backplates and high flow brackets for yourself but waiting for their feedback on that.

If not then we can probably work on a partial refund. :)
 
Gibbo! Can you get in the backplates and brackets seperately? I reckon they'd do well if they were linked from the EVGA cards ;) I'd certainly buy them.

How long have you had them? if less than 7 days they are obliged by the DSR to give you a refund if you so desire and as they are at fault for sending you the wrong item I think they must organise collection also, it's a bit unreasonable to ship you the wrong item and then make you pay for returning them.

Indeed. The opportunity here is for ocuk to make right their mistake and wow us all with the much famed amazing customer service. :D
