lo all, with thanks to lads on the motherboard section i have a list of items in my Overclockers basket as we speak. all i need to do now is add a card/cards to the package with your help please.

i want to be able to play the lastest games.
i tend to do a lot of picture & video editing
i need HD out but if at all possible (i havn't looked into this at all yet) a 3D playing card cos my TV is a Panasonic 50" Plasma 3D TV TX-P50VT20B

its to go with the following: -

i7 920 CPU
Tagan BZ1300 PipeRock
Asus P6X58D-E Intel X58 (Socket 1366) DDR3 Motherboard
Corsair Dominator 6GB (3x2GB) DDR3 12800C8 1600MHz Triple Channel Kit
Prolimatech Megahalems Rev B CPU Cooler (Socket 775/1156/1366)
Akasa AK-FN058 Apache Black Super Silent 120mm Fan - 4 Pin PWM

if this just isn't possible for £150 with a decent enough card i can stretch a little further if that helps.

thanks

If you can't go above £150. Then go for a 460 1gb version. If you can stretch to nearer £200. Get a 5850.

i'm not confident with overclocking yet.

as for the 5850, which one? i can stretch to £200 i was just trying to be tight fisted.
