Just wondering what's considered the highest voltage it's ok to put through one of these. My brother's computer feels a bit sluggish, and I'd like to help sort it by overclocking to ~3.6GHz or so.

Hey Marvin,

1.5v-1.55vCore is fine and should get you to about 3.7GHz or so . . .

Had this running on a few machines for several months and not a problem if you have 3rd party cooling!

sluggish? . . . thats strange as it should feel as nippy as a nippy thing? . . . whats the rest of the hardware?

To be honest my brother's computer is so full of crap that it's slower than others much worse machines. Tried to get him to reinstall, but he can never be bothered.

I've got it to 3.5GHz with 100mV extra (I think it's around 1.425V stock). He has an Asus Triton of some description cooling, so temps are ok.
