ID this song for me

It's definately an oldy. I'd say 70's. It's a woman singing, but the voice isn't very clear, you have to listen very carefully to her words. The melody is something akin to Tubular Bells, but not quite Tubular Bells.

It was a big hit apparantly. I can't tell you what the lyrics are, who sang it or when it was released! But it's something that's stuck in my head!
