"Screaming children will not be tolerated!"

Being a parent i would say that a child should not be allowed to scream its lungs out in public in a tantrum. That is down to the parent to sort out while they are at a young age.

Also, another annoying thing that lots have to put up with in public is those idiots who listen to music through their headphones, blasting away!! Obviously they don't care about thhose around them!

While I agree wth the first part of your statement I hate to break this to you but...

McDonalds HAS ALWAYS BEEN a nursery with a meal!

well to be fair most of the decent sized mcdonalds have an upstairs with free baloons in the windows (yes they really are free and your alowed to take them)

upstairs have kids beeing ***** for all i care it seems they want the people with kids upstairs anyway let everyone else downstairs have a bit of peace

Yes I agree, some parents think that can go anywhere and let their children do whatever they please including screaming, touching and moving everything. How about some respect to other customers.

Very true, I had to ask several times for 'some woman' to stop her dirty little sprog from kicking the back of my seat.

Last short haul flight I was on, there was a kid in front of me that was so small its legs didn't even reach off that. For some reason, its mother thought it fully deserved to have the seat fully reclined into my knees while I was asleep. I wouldn't have minded so much if the silly cow had at least asked.

As a father of three (wel behaved) children I'm all in favour of it. I hate it when I go out to a restaurant with my kids and they are sat nicely either colouring whilst waiting for their meal or eating it nicely when it gets here. I never let my kids get down from the table in a restaurant on thier own and seeing other peoples kids running about treating the place like a playground just wants me to stick the back of the chair out when they come barrelling past (in fact I have on a couple of occasions).

I also wish more restaurants/pubs would become adults only for those times when I go out without the kids.

Rant over.

There are lots of ways to control children's behaviour.
I've heard mothers saying 'Right! One...... Two........ ......... ....... ...... ' and then not dare get to the dreaded three and have to do something.
Or 'Don't make me tell you twice!' followed by 'Don't make me have to tell you three times!' and so on.

At least in this country we don't have them running around biting people. Yet.
