Actually I just cant be bothered with you, you're one of them that will just go on, and on and on twisting my comments and talking rubbish and for arguments on the internets because you have nothing better to do. I've already said I 2was and still am a Honda nut, I am well aware D series Honda's particulary D16Z6 respond very well to to turbo apps, K20's to superchargers. B and H series not so much unless a lot more money is put into them but you need an aftermarket ECU no matter which you engine you have

I'd like to get my teg Kpro'd at some point in the future but i am slightly worried that with the VTEC point lowered it might lose some of its charm - the kick you get at 6000rpm is great fun and if it was a smooth power curve like the kpro makes it im not so sure it'd actually be as 'fun' even though i'm sure you could make progress on a B road faster

What teg is it, assuming is a DC5 its not quite as worth it as it is with a UKDM EP3

EK9/DC2/DC5/FD2/NSX/S800 are the decent Hondas that I know of.

EK9 : Overpriced import 1.6, never really liked them for what they cost

DC2 : Love them, looked for one, test drove a 96 JDM spec almost traded in my 1.8 VTI but decided against it mainly because at the time the insurance was more than I wanted to spend

DC5 : Cant afford it

FD2 : Cant afford it

NSX : Come on now am I supposedto be loaded or what?

S2000 : Assuming you mean S2000, dont like roadsters, not a huge fan of RWD

Supercharged K Series however, is AWESOME.
 
Yeah its a DC5, I've already got an RBC, 70mm throttle body, spoon 4-2 and B-pipe so i would see decent gains from a kpro

Very nice. I would love a DC5 but I just have a weird issue with imports. Where did you buy yours from if you dont me asking asking assuming it wasnt private

No doubt, but there was a discussion recently on how a B20 DC2 had no issue keeping up with a supercharged EP3 which I find quite impressive being a fan of NA motors
 
Bought mine privately from an owners club member (itr-dc5.com) - that way i felt more confident in the car as i could trace its history over the last 12 months on the forum rather than some fresh import.

If i was to import myself it'd have been 200bhp cars no question as Andy there really know his stuff and has an amazing rep on the various owners clubs

I've not had any issues so far with it being an import really apart from insurance prices but thats just what you have to expect. Theres a big enough scene to be able to source pretty much anything you can think of pretty easily.

There's plenty of reliable turbo B series out there, Hondata tuners aren't that common though in the UK, fortunately one lives 10 miles away from me and is a very good friend of mine:p

Haha perhaps, but i still feel more comfortable with that kind of history rather than some unknown trade in on a forecourt somewhere!

Also it wasn't like it was gonna stay off a track with me anyhow!

There is a boy that comes into my work with a comptech EP3 apparently running around 300BHP. Its a proper flying machine.

Theres also a guy up here who just B20'd his DC2 and its running 230bhp (IIRC).

Id find it hard for a B20 to keep up with a SC K20.
