Wow what a tard!

SPGs do not ruin the game. If your team does the right things then SPGs will only claim a few lives. More often than not it's the big Heavy Tanks that get all the kills.

When a team works together you can see how fast they can pick off enemy artillery. I got killed within the first minute once. Two very brave, very fast light tanks zipped past everyone and got me! :( :D
 
Well sometimes I can understand when I get TK (I am one of those noobs who tries to get as close as possible to the enemy) but some people just need to either stop crying or watch their fire. There was this team-mate shooting at an opponent, I swung in front of my team-mate and killed the enemy, sadly my team-mate for some reason either didn't notice this or didn't like me taking his kill, so he shot and killed me.

I also think people should be more careful when driving out of spawn, I have been shot at numerous times when leaving spawn by my own team and many people just don't look to see if anybody is coming before going into roads. I had two examples of this:

1. Coming out of spawn, Guy with faster tank tries to overtake me, gets it all wrong and destroys my tracks, and then just laughs about it.

2. Another similar guy, He tries to overtake me, so considering the lessons learnt before, I stop, only to have someone with a decent tank smash his tracks trying to avoid me, he turns his gun on me, and killed me, and then after explaining myself, he also shoots the other guy.

But overall it is a very fun game, even though I am getting very few kills(My aim is shocking)

Unfortunately, you're going to get idiots in any online game.

Once its fully released there will be clans going, and hopefully an OcUK clan, and there's big plans for clan wars, essentially all the clans fighting over control of Europe. I have no idea how it'll work, but it should be awesome, everyone on TS/Vent/Mumble and some proper tactics for all the maps. Or something. Depends how serious people want to take it :D

Ugh I hate these tards. They're the same people who suddenly turn or stop dead right in front of you. Some even have the cheek to blame me! "Well ****! Sorry I didn't forsee a complete pillock stopping while doing 50KPH without warning!"

You will start to make kills. Admittedly most of mine are with my little Wespe [SPG] but that's probably due to it being my main grinding tank. I have started racking up kills with my Pz III, but to be honest until you hit higher tier Mediums and Heavies, you shouldn't be trying to get kills.

You can use Auto-Aim if you are struggling. When you have a target highlighted [red outline] right-click your mouse. Your turret should automatically follow the target - meaning you can drive and shoot more easily. Absolutely fantastic for the fast tanks as you wont accidentally drive into a house or a boulder! :D

If someone sets up an OcUK clan I'll join. The great thing about WoT is there is nothing very complicated about it, which is great if you don't have much time. No arsing about getting teams/squads ready or any of that nonsense. Just click battle and you can be having fun within a minute.
 
Ahhh most annoying epic battle ever. In my SU-152 tank destroyer, was blowing up tanks left right and centre got about 6 one hit kills and a few others assisting getting up to 8 kills, when the last tank on their team, a tiger, who me and this other guy took down to 1% health before he ran away, popped out, track me, (forgot to buy a repair kit :() then blow me up.

So annoying having an almost perfect game taken away from you by some lucky sod at 1% health ahhh :p

EDIT: Also anyone else notice how badly this game handles bandwidth, can't stream from youtube and play at the same time without having major lag in game every few seconds.

A 1% health Heavy is just as much a threat as one at 100%! :p

I have scored kills zipping around in my Pz III Ausf A with just a few % HP :D

I haven't tried streaming from YouTube while playing, so can't really comment. Though lag can be an issue at times. Not really surprised as I imagine they have a few kinks to work out and even the biggest/most popular games out there suffer from lag now and then.
 
Yeah I shouldn't complain when a few games before, I got taken down to 18hp about one minute into the game and then went around and had a good game after apart from that.

Just annoying that my shot that took him down to 1% health midway through the game could have easily destroyed him instead. and it would have been 9kills total that game instead of 8 :p but hey ho, I got my first 'top gun' medal that game :D

EDIT: Also aside from getting annihilated by SPGs every now and then, I'm really enjoying the russian TDs again (first tanks I tried and got up to the SU85) after playing with mediums and heavies. Right now got the little french tier 2 premium tank for funsies (the little thing is the heavy of the light tanks, bounces almost all tier1-2 cannons and once or twice now its received/deflected over 1100hp worth of shots, not bad for only have 160hp itself), the Panther, the IS and the SU-152 and I'm trying to decide when I get the money to either get the ISU-152 with its super cannon of death or the IS-3 and its really annoying sloped armour (side armour is 'only' 90mm thick but the russian 122 and german long 88s will bounce off it 9 out of 10 times).

If the balancing system was better right now I would probably just buy either a PIII/IV or the DB again, those things were wooshy fun spinning tanks of destruction, which just isn't as fun to do in the panther.

Yeah if you go through the official website they tend to activate you account in advance before telling you and you probably got accepted just before the wipe, when they gave every existing account 4000 gold.

I would only say the russians are best in the upper tier heavies. TD they are fairly evenly balanced between damage, armour and speed. Mediums, sure the T44 is annoying with its agility but its guns are bellow average and I've never had a problem taking them out in the DB or Panther unless they get lucky and disable your turret. Can't speak for SPGs though as I've never played them, but aside from the russian currently having one extra tier they seem pretty even.

Although I haven't played any other types of tank apart from the light tank, I am really liking the speed and also having an alrightish gun.

If anybody want to play I am on now.
 
I used to be a russian TD player, but with the new German TD I'm going down their line instead, because damn I want the biggest, baddest TD in the game :D

Only in a Stug III at the moment, almost up to the Jagdpanzer though, and I'm suprised how fast it reloads! Each shot does less, but DoT probably is similar to the russian TDs.
