Best product to remove dark mark from white shirt?

That's right OcUK, it's a laundry question! One of my work shirts (white textured cotton) has picked up a think dark grey mark on it, just a couple of cm long on the cuff. I can't shift it with normal washing powder.

Am I best getting one of the Vanish products, or bleaching it, or something else?

I know my way around a washing machine but not had to do this before!

Vanish should work - its what I use to clean up any marks on my shirts.

if vanish doesn't get it, then a dab of bleach would work, especially on the scuff where you wont notice it.

place stained area over a cup or glass, pour bleach over it, the bleach will push the stain through.

just be warned with bleach if its not white white then you may end up with a very white patch on your shirt! I've done it once by mistake
