9/11

RIP to the fallen, but the USA has tarnished itself and disgraced the memory of those who died on the day by turning into an extreme-right fascist state.

Diffrence is they wernt man made.

Exactly, doesn't that just make it more scary..

Also sorry for using the word America, USA is what I meant.

It was bad don't get me wrong, but the USA have made it much worse, there is really no need to go slaughter loads of people in the middle east to resolve the situation. But it works so well for the government they might as well just go with it, enslaving their own population using scare tactics of such a tiny risk which they are making greater though.

Publishing story's such as the Koran burning as well creates so much fear of retaliation its unreal, its not like they are slaying thousands of people in an attempt to minimise the risk to their population is it

Perfectly written:
RIP to the fallen, but the USA has tarnished itself and disgraced the memory of those who died on the day by turning into an extreme-right fascist state.

Think further tarnished itself is much suitable though.

The memorial would've been an implemented message using a vBulletin feature which would disable the forums and be displayed instead.

I thought it still existed at an address you could view it at, when it was decided to no longer close the forums all day.

Need to move on tbh, America have been milking it far too hard for their own evil.

Well said well said....RIP to those that perished in the 9/11 attacks...this day will never be forgotten...etched into the history books forever.

R.I.P. the 9/11 victims and the many Iraqi civillians killed as a result. Perhaps if a significant number of Iraqi's died in a spectacular fashion then maybe they'd get the equal recognition they deserve.

Until then...here's to the victims of religious extremism and American hegemony everywhere...*raises glass*.

During the last night of the 2001 Proms the BBC Symphony Orchestra played perhaps the most fitting, poignant piece to match the mood worldwide when they performed Barber's Adagio for Strings. RIP to the innocents on all sides caught up in the madness that descended on the world that day, and ever since. :(

i don't understand but i do feel for all the victims of 9/11 but by still remembering this globally (the immediately effected victims will obviously remember it everyday and pay homage on the anniversary) then i believe it stands the risk of becoming a case of 'when do you stop'? as other posters have said, the USA needs to move on. Does 7/7 get the same response worldwide? do other disaster events, man made or natural get this kind of treatment 9 years on? it was tragic, it will live with the families of those immediately effected forever but i really do think it is time to move on and by that, i mean such things as a 9/11 topic on an internet messageboard may not really still have a need 9 years on. i find the footage of 9/11 fascinating and watched the documentary on channel 4 this evening but then i remembered it was 9 years ago, are we going to have one next year too?
never forget, but please, things move on

R.I.P to all who was lost.

i remember walking in from school as the first tower came down, will NEVER forget the moment, or the people...
