Yup, I'm a nerd, but tracking some aspects of my life in spreadsheets has been one of the best things I've done, along with having a To-Do list. Ever since I finished my education and started work, I've been itching to keep that feeling of making progress going and avoid getting stuck in a rut.

For example, I have a financial spreadsheet with my monthly outgoings, pension, savings, investments, mortgage calculations etc. I find this is helping me get richer. I also track the economy with things like population demographics, house prices, inflation etc.

I also have a spreadsheet for my health, with things like bodyweight, body fat, blood pressure. I also use it to count calories and macros (I'm into body recomposition). I'm finding this is helping me get stronger, bigger and leaner.

So what other things in life can I turn into graphs and numbers?

:D

Fapping performance - length of session, size of load, etc.

There. I did it first. I win at OCUK :D

I think I maybe work with you - a guy in work has a project plan done out for his life with GANT charts etc. Yep sad git of a project manager!

You sound like the kind of person that owns a BMW M3. :D

Nope, since that's a depreciating asset and 90% of my net worth is in investments that are earning me more than inflation.

I want to get out of the rat race and travel the world, not drive to work so I can pay for the fancy car that I drive to work ;)

Keep the ideas coming guys :D

How about typing speed, do typing test everyday. How about a good/average/Terrible/**** scale for each day, what about how many words you say each day, carry a clicker and press it everytime you talk.

How ironic lol, its just that the stereotype for M3 drivers are people who love doing powerpoint slides and spreadsheets, marketing people basically.

For this purpose also consider Money Manager Ex - nice bit of freeware software.

Memorable dates, book/music/dvd collection. Stick them all in there.

Yeah I've done that for music. I should do it for DVD too and the 3 blu-ray discs that I have :-) I also do jobhunting stats, 1 line per job that I apply for, monitoring dates, response, shortlistings etc. Another suggestion I could throw in is weekly electricity/gas meter readings.
