Few pictures of my new car after a wash and wax!

Will be hard to beat the value for money and trouble free fun that I had with the rover for over 4 years! But I have gone from one turbo to two, a saloon to an estate (great for bikes and kayaks!), FWD to AWD and from 200bhp to 280bhp.

Had her about 2months now and love everything about her apart from the fuel consumption!

Nice one, enjoy that.

By the way that cotswold stone building looks superb, i need a load of those stones urgently.

Is that exhaust a stock one? I'm not feeling it. Other than the rest of the car looks fantastic.

When you chose this car did you feel you needed the AWD system?

Looking good, they're V6 twin turbos aren't they? 3l?

I've got a load of them sitting here if you want to drive round and pick them up. :D

Iv had a warning for trying to do a deal even though i was only joking on here.

So if they are in good condition, a fairly uniform colour and you have a decent amount e mail me in trust.

Exhaust is not standard, when I purchased the car I intended to put a standard / smaller one on but apart from the stupid size it's really grown on me. Sounds good on a blast and is not very intrusive at motorway speeds.

Even though I live on some nasty country lanes which were absolutely dreadful in the winter I never faultered with FWD, so I didn't really feel the need for AWD but drove the car and loved it.

As for spec / details standard features include:

2L Flat four twin turbo (Sequential) - 280bhp
4WD
HID Headlights
GTB (Bilstein) Model so has uprated suspension parts as standard
Leather - Electric Drivers seat
Climate Control
Electric power mirrors
etc...

This one has 4pots fitted and front/rear strut bars. I will be getting a remap next month which will up the power a bit and also have uprated anti roll bars ordered.

Sorry Mark I was winding you up "drive up here" thought it was clearer than it obviously was!

Geez those are cheap for what the are! Look like monsters and im guessing easily tuned?

No, they're not much for tuning due to the twin turbo. 300bhp can be achieved but the single turbo in the scooby is far more open to mods.

Nice car, OP, the same as mine but in the wrong colour ;-) How do you find the non-stock exhaust? Is it a 'rumbler' or fairly quiet? It looks like a 2.5 inch (3?) which are less barryboy than the 3.5" which is common here amongst the boy racers.

The AWD is fantastic and if you put a 21" rear sway bar on it you'll take out some of the factory understeer which can kick in if you go into a corner with a bit too much determination.

What year is it?

Remap will bring it to the 320-330bhp area. If you want all out top end power its easier to opt for a single turbo, and bits can bolt straight on from an Impreza, but the standard internals wouldn't hold out for a lot more anyway. But its nice to have a smaller turbo aswell at lower rpm's.

I would say that the exhaust is smack in the middle of a standard setup and the most ridiculous as far as noise goes. As for size I wouldn't mind it a little smaller to be honest.

I will find out about the sway bar when it comes in a few weeks :)

I dont normally like estates but i think that these look so cool especially in black.
Got any plans for the audio or will you be leaving it standard?;)
