Ideas for other aspects of my life to turn into a Spreadsheet!

If you could upload a draft of the document that smogsy also requested, I would like to use it because I'm jsut terrible with money. I would much appreciate it.

I made a spreadsheet which worked out the optimum time for me to leave the house in a morning so I wouldn't be in as much traffic and I didn't have to wait too long before I started work.
I took the data over a 3 month period.

i LOLED hard.

Sounds like fun, until you actually come to measuring it........

Sloppy hands :D

Nein!

No need to get messy, yet be highly accurate. ;)

Another suggestion I could throw in is weekly electricity/gas meter readings.

Thanks - that's on my finance spreadsheet already. I know the utility companies like to overcharge and build up a nice pot with your money so I set my direct debit amount myself.

Yup, done that too to minimise the time spent commuting and amount spent on petrol.

sugar intake a day?

Yup, already monitor my macro intake, supplements and calories.

Do you hit all of your RDA's? Spreadsheet it.

As above. If you look into it, RDAs are pretty pathetic really. There's a vast difference between RDA and optimal for health. (Not criticising you here, thanks for the suggestion).

How long you sleep per night?
How long you watch TV?

Thanks. I sleep the same amount each night due to getting up at the same time every day and generally going to bed about the same time (social gatherings / travelling excepted of course).

No TV - waste of time and money.

:D

To the people requesting the document, I've cut it down a bit and changed my values for fictitious values:

Download here

Hope it helps some people budget. Please note once again that the figures are fictitious and in no way my recommendations. They are just vague round figures.

no tv - too busy filling in spreadsheets?

I built a spreadsheet to create a diet for uni :o . Goals; to ensure high protein intake, all vitamins and minerals in required amounts and general 'balance'. I have done 6 days and just have to do the 7th (weekly rotation) at which point I can assemble a crazy long shopping list and get anything which won't expire in a bulk shop.

Reading it back it sounds moderately insane and it probably isn't something I'd mention to course mates, but my logic is infallible! Reduced shopping trips (hard without car), hopefully less sick time and eventual improved physique when combined with excersise.
