Is there such a thing as a gaming mouse that has the 2 left-hand side buttons actually built into the thumb rest rather than above it, so that you can use your thumb in a kind of rocker fashion to click those 2 buttons without removing your thumb from its rest. Just an idea I had, is there any mouse out there like that, thanks

not a gaming mouse, but the logitech performance mx mouse has a button built into the thumb rest.

not sure if thats of any help to you

well I'm using the Logitech MX518 gaming mouse at the moment, but I find it too small for my hands, using a palm grip my fingers extend way beyond the left/right click buttons, in order to use this mouse I have to use a claw grip which I hate.

Not trying to be argumentative but i find the exact opposite with the 518, my claw grip isnt big enough lol!

Would recommend mainly looking at the size first, love the 518 but if it was 10-20% smaller I would love it so much more.

Yeah I know what you mean, fit is the hardest thing to get right, for me if the MX518 were slightly bigger it would fit fine. I'm now looking at the Razer Death Adder which is more than I want to pay for a mouse
at £42, but it seems to tick all the right boxes, extended left/right click buttons, and the forward/backward buttons integrated into the thumb rest. I 'll try to find a shop in London that has them on display so I can check the fit first ... cheers!

DeathAdder is a large and extremely comfortable mouse. Yes, it's expensive given it lacks a lot of the bling normally associated with a mouse in that price range but sometimes the ergonomics is worth paying for, especially if you plan on long sessions at the computer. Plus the sensor is one of the best on the market. Good thinking about checking the fit first!

Deathadder is the single greatest mouse I have ever used haha. I've also used the lachies or how ever it's spelt and I didn't like it nearly as much as my deathadder. It was uncomfortable in comparison.

Also I've had my death adder now for about 4 years and it still works perfectly. I've never had a mouse last that long haha. I will probably buy another one when it finally breaks.

Sidewinder X8 fits that bill exactly. The thumb buttons are win win win. Awesome in all other ways too imho - love mine.
