You couldn't have chosen a worse time to apply for the US citizenship. The latest reports indicate that about a fifth of the US population is below poverty line. You're much better off in the UK. If I were you I'd probably apply for a German citizenship.

Besides I am sure the secret services of all the 'countries of interest' including pakistan and uk hold massive database of their citizens. I wouldn't be surprised if I went up to MI5/MI6 headquarters and gave them my name and in an instant all my info will be on the display such as where I live, where I studied, worked, at which airports i travelled etc .
