Antec TruePower 550w = i7 930 @4ghz + GTX470?

Hi all,

Just about to order a GTX470 and wondered if my PSU would be ok. Don't really want to have to spend out on a bigger one but if I HAVE to then I have to.

I have a Be Quiet 550w running a i7 and a 470 so i would say it should be ok

550W min as recommended by Nvidia.
Guru3D also recommend a 550W supply & their test rig is pretty top end.

That's absolutely fine. People tend to really over do power, thinking they need much more than they really do.

It should be fine, but if you want to check how much power you are actually using you can always try our wattage calculator, which is quite in depth and even takes the age of the capacitors into account when deciding how much power you will need.
