God I hate Parcel Force, been out for delivery since 2300 last night apparently. I just know if I glance away from the front of the house for one moment he will run up to the door and slip his card through the letterbox. Why are all couriers workshy freeloaders?

Mine has arrived! Limited Edition - the book is really quite impressive. I was expecting it to be a little bit rubbish, but it's really substantial. Definitely worth it if you're into that sort of thing.

anyone else finding this much tougher than the previous? hunters are really proving a problem for me atm.

Yeah hunters are a *****, unless you move really quickly the splash damage takes you down quickly.
Massively below that of a decent PC game, but then that's to be expected because the hardware is so old. Probably a bit below par on the 360 to be honest, not that I own a lot of 360 games but Halo has always looked rather poor on the platform in my opinion.
Still, it's the gameplay that matters and it delivers that in spades.

Yes, I don't know what some are looking it. Looks pretty impressive to me.

Jokes aside, yes Halo is a tad less graphically impressive, however few 360 games were able to achieve the same "grand scale" as Halo 3 has for me.
The reason I say this is becuse you can look miles into the distance (via scope's or whatever) and the wee Aliens just go about their business .. don't know what the technical term for this is.. AI distance perhaps?
Also the draw distance have always impressed me. Both these "distance factors" really puts a strain on the relatively old hardware and I think Bungie has done a good job of keeping the GFX look "this gen" at least.

For those that may be interested in having a closer look at the Limited Collectors Edition,
Ploughed through campaign mode last night.
Graphics are decent and it's pretty clear Bungie rinsed much as they could from the console. Some parts of the campaign felt disappointing and others surprisingly good, so overall hit & miss but still a great send off for campaign side of franchise. Guess I'll have to check out multiplayer tonight to see what all the fuss is about.

What's the cheapest price in the Supermarkets for the normal game? Might go try & get a copy now.
According to McManicMan Tesco's has it for £28.99, I don't think you'll get it for much cheaper than that.
