Machette was a fake Grindhouse trailer and thats been made into a film. This also started out as a fake trailer.

The problem with these films is that they are very niche and you either like it or you don't. For every person that liked Death Proof there are 5+ that thought it was carp.

Deathproof was awesome. but I agree, not many people I know actually get it. and think theirs too much talking.

The talking builds up the suspense and makes Stuntman mike look harmless.

Terrible, terrible film. This is an 'exploitation' venture rather than a humourous one. It's twisted and extremely violent, mostly in a non-funny way. Really disappointing. I don't know how they messed it up, because on paper it should be fantastic.
