The pope. Popeing about.

So you only pay to attend the Mass right? It's not like you gotta pay to see him passing in his popmobile on the streets.

I think he's mobile in London, but afaik in Brum he's only viewable at this expensive clandestine event..
All criticism of the church aside, I just think it's a real shame, because there are a lot of people who are undecided about Catholicism and whatnot, lots of Catholics who are dictated to by this guy - deep within their daily lives, and they don't get to see him!. This just has a terrible air about it to me. Also this guy is supposed to be 'gods representative on earth'; and I fail to understand how it should cost £25 and be a royal pita to see 'gods representative on earth' when he's 15 mins down the road doing a 'public' appearance..

He's coming to a building opposite my office on Hagley Road and ITV have been in today asking if they can film from our office as it's a direct vantage point. We've agreed provided they bring the biscuits.

Where abouts on the Hagley road is this chap?, and when exactly.. This could quench my pope thirst, for freeeeeeeeeeeeeee.

******* pain in the neck. I just hope they re-open the roads in time so I can get my taxi to the airport and fly home.

They've put fences up along the road outside my flat. Guess he might be coming this way to get to Holyrood.

If I killed the Pope, would that mean I'd become Pope?

Is Dawkins still planning to arrest him?

Yeah because you know, The Queen often walks around in public with no protection and regularly holds meetings and talks with her citizens. Am i right?

The Pope is a Head of State ( The Vatican) and the Head of the largest religious organization in the World. Ofcourse you're going to need to jump through some hoops to see him, heck, you should count yourself lucky he even addresses the public so often and travels everywhere as most leaders/monarchs/politicians these days don't.

I for one feel honoured that the nation is subsidising the visit of a man that heads one of the richest organisations in the world, I will put aside Mr Ratzingers questionable record when it comes to institutional paedophilia and welcome him with open arms.

Took the words right out of my mouth there.
