Why is one core speed massively different?

I think that for a forum member of your experience you MAY have posted a tester to see if anyone can figure it out?

My theory is

That you have loaded AMD Overdrive

In advanced mode you have knocked the Core 0 multiplier back to x4

Applied the change

Run Speccy and taken a screenshot and posted it to test us.

In the meantime reverted the change in AMD overdrive and run OCCT and taken another screenshot ( just before it finshes ) and posted that

It's just a guess :)

I bought a Gigabyte UD5 and X1090T shortly after release and this was a bug at the time, for some reason disabling the power saving features were not working for the first core, they were supposed to be releasing a BIOS update to fix it but I got impatient and got rid.

So try updating your BIOS?
