However, unlike the Provisional IRA - which consistently targeted the City of London in the early 1990s and then Canary Wharf in 1996 - it has never launched a serious bombing campaign.

Doesn't mean they wont I suppose.

the provo's have turned into nice law abiding people (mostly), but the Real IRA have always been extremists, even back in the mid 80s/90s, they were seen by many other IRA groups as being "a little odd"
