No doubt all the infrastructure will just rot away in London after the games, even the main stadium is being dismantled to a smaller capacity, WHY?
I have no interest in the event and I don't think that we are, as a country, able to put on these events well. I also don't think that we are really in a position to afford putting it on properly.
Maybe we should scale it back to a school sports day type affair.

Because the tax payer pays for it all, the people that run it, bid for it get paid from the tax payer, thats why.

I live around ten minutes away from the Olympic Site so I'm looking forward to all of the benefits coming to my borough such as the largest shopping centre in Europe and more![]()
