read my mind, was waiting to see if the MSI 470 would get a deal today, ordering one now, but having trouble with free shipping? has it been dissolved I can't get it to work, logged in as usual etc...

Using one myself does 800/1600/1680 1000mv, fan at 45% nice and quiet > temp about 68'c at a room temp of 22'c, cracking stuff.

No experience with the StealthXtreme 2 - but I have quite a bit of experience with the original version and it was anything but stealthy. Pretty average PSUs generally.

Yeah, they're budget PSUs, but for what they are I think they do a reasonable job given the price. At least my 'original version' 500W unit hasn't broken or turned ridiculously noisy yet.

One of mine degraded over about 2 years so that it was only capable of around 75% of its rated output but the rest are still going strong (AFAIK no ones complained yet). They aren't the most noisey ever but for something thats sold as being "stealthy" they are certainly not that quiet.

lol at your sig btw I remember that thread :D

mate had a DOA OCZ two yrs ago, enough to taint us both i'm afraid so we are corsair for now

replacement was fairly noisy when operating

good 470 you have there at 800core:)

Yeh the corsair will run a 470 fine if that's on your rig sig. They're good PSUs and will even run past their stated max watts (not ideal obviously)

Look into my eye's, your feeling sleepy, tired, when l count to 10, you will be under my control > when you awake all you will remember is MSI GTX 470, and the un-stopable urge to order one.

Job sorted go order one lol. :)
