I'm on Windows 7 and I managed to uninstall it through: Control Panel -> Programs -> Programs and Features -> Installed updates. Somewhere in there it has Internet Explorer 9 Beta and from there you can uninstall it.

Yeah, that's true. They implemented the download manager way back in Windows Longhorn's Internet Explorer, and that didn't display the download speed either.Loving it. Feels like a finished product almost.
