Class one Powerboats. Twin 1000hp engines make some sound like Spitfires.

Much better to hear in person but a couple of vids I found...

Such a shame they retired the hovercraft, it as epic. Loved my ride on that, although it was just as noisy inside...

Also, not really a favourite noise but I was quite literally stood at the end of a runway when this landed a couple of months ago. Epic noise (and all those videos you see of people being blown away on beaches are almost certainly rubbish...)
