You can work or play anytime with laser-etched, backlit keys that are bright enough to let you type in the dark. The keyboard automatically adjusts the backlighting to suit the lighting conditions. Or you can adjust it the way you like it with the press of a button. Sensors detect your hands as they approach the keyboard to turn the backlight on and off. Your desk is about to get sleeker thanks to the thin profile, clear edge, and streamlined, wireless design. Every stroke you make is comfortable, fluid, and whisper-quiet with the PerfectStroke™ key system.
You simply plug in the universal micro-USB cable for three to six hours for up to 10 days of battery life. You can even type while it’s recharging.

Hmmm just what I've been looking for in terms of a professional and modern-looking sleek styled keyboard. Struggling to see where the price tag comes from, though.

what's it like for gaming??

are the keys responsive enough?

Absolutely. Basically, it feels like a good laptop keyboard. But if you don't like them, then it's probably not for you.

T.B.H., not sure how much a good illuminated laptop keyboard costs to manufacture and fit into a laptop (Dell, Sony, HP provide them as options). I'm wondering if another manufacturer could sell an identical product (scissor keys, good illumination) at a more competitive price.

Noneless, the L.I.K. is the best desktop keyboard I've ever used, and in that way justifies the £60 price tag (back in the days). It's like my Dell 2407WFP. Love that monitor, it's expensive, but you get what you pay for. I really don't see myself replacing either of those for quite a while (had the keyboard for 18 months, the display for three years). They will most likely outlive a couple of computer upgrades, which are far more expensive.

I think spending £80 on a good keyboard isn't a bad idea. The only thing that will make me replace mine would be if it breaks, but then, it's Logitech, and will give me an opportunity to test their famed customer service.
