Kick-Ass

Cage is brilliant in this movie. It takes a few watches to fully appreciate his performance and all the detail the screenplay authors put into his character.

One thing I noticed was... it was his daughters birthday and yet he is sat there drawing comic sketches. His daughter was the one that went out and bought the donuts. Then he makes a joke about it saying "awww you beat me to it, I wanted to get you breakfast this morning!"

Total psychopath, for sure! :D

an awsomly awsome movie, had hairs on my neck standing on end. very cool in places and very dark aswell, loved it, a true original in an age of copys cats and clones. On a par with inception in my books!

I havent seen Inception, but have heard very good things about it. I shall definitely watch it when it comes out on disc.

The problem is that I also heard good things about Avatar and was shocked at just how abysmal it was (sfx aside). I also heard great things about The Dark Knight and felt it nothing special, so here's hoping that Inception lives up to the hype.

Dark Knight was nothing special, it's actually very boring after the first bank heist sequence. Avatar's story was unoriginal but the SFX were amazing in 3D.

Inception was incredibly hard to watch in the cinema, but I'm looking forward to rewatching it on DVD. I think it will improve after a few watches.

Kick-Ass was a instant hit for me and it gets better after a few watches.

great movie..

something about it was very original

edit: and yes, great soundtrack too..

Loved it.

Didn't know anything about it being a comic before hand so just watched it with no expectation about what should or shouldn't happen and have to say me and the Mrs thoroughly enjoyed it from start to finish.

Same here, actually thought it was going to be a kids film, and not a fan of Nicholas Cage.. was not expecting to love it and so got a whopping great surprise !!! Made me laugh, cry and wish for more :D

one of my fav movies this year no doubt, the bodyguard in the cafe at the start laughed for a good 30 minutes after lol

My 2 fave movies over the last 12 months were this and Iron Man 2.
What was great, was that I never expected Kick Ass to be any good...so it was a pleasant surprise.

Loved it in the cinema, loved it on DVD.

Hasn't aged in my opinion and will watch again with the flatmates this week. Excellent film from start to finish.

Almost forgot obligatory Lyndsey Fonseca is hot statement :o
