Codemasters F1 2010 X360/PS3 (contains important question about 2011 game!!!)

"German PC Games magazine has released a very interesting bunch of screenshots, showing us comparisons between the console and PC versions of Codemasters’ upcoming F1 2010 title. As you can see in the high-resolution comparison shots below, there’s quite the difference between the version both in terms of crispness and lighting. While the Playstation 3 version arguably is the least-impressive looking, the PC version comes with the sharpest textures but sports a yellowish glow the console versions lack. Keep in mind that the PC version won’t be DirectX 11 enhanced from the get-go as Codemasters will be releasing a DX11 patch sometime after the release."

Also if you look at the final PS3 shot, even the trophy alert looks ugly as ****.... someone needs to be better at setting up systems :D

I have been, i was referring to the article on VirtualIR posted above me comparing the consoles vs PC.

That's why i said i hope you can turn it off, as i'm not sure if you can or can't.
 
Don't know if its just me but I think they all look pretty bad compared to other screenies/vids we've seen...which makes me think that looking at those for any kind of insight is pointless.
 
Can't believe in this day and age the difference between 360 and a PS3 game. That's shocking from Codemasters and all games companies for that matter.

Arguably the PS3 is the higher spec console vs. the 360, after all these years since the PS3 was released the excuse that "it's harder" to develop on is a load of rubbish. Poor show.

PS3 version looks a little more blurry than the 360 version, but not a lot in it at all. The PC version is obviously the 'crispest' of them all, but it appears to have excessive 'bloom' compared to the console versions.
 
I can't wait any longer! It's simply not fair lol.

Plus, no way can I afford a wheel for another month or 2, so looks like I will be running through the SP with the pad on normal settings with assists on and hope that they have achievements for expert mode SP... Giving me incentive to play again with the wheel :)

Not a lot in it.. PC looks sharper, to be expect the xbox360 looks too dark, PS3 version is a lot lighter looking not a lot in it TBH.

Against the 360 and PS3 can't really tell all that much, look pretty much the same to me... Maybe its me. !!

Anyhow, still getting the PS3 version even though I own a 360. All my mates are getting the PS3 version, so I found out today so that's the one for me, and at least I won't need to turn the contrast on my TV up with the PS3 version either.. lol
 
So unlike the PS3, the xbox360 only has the official M$ wheel or the fanatec wheels, which are stupidly expensive???.

I had a look at my M$ wheel last night and it seems to have gone kaput ie doesnt work or anything so lookinmg at other options now but dont fancy spending £100+ for a wheel plsu im wanting to get a wheel stand as well...still not sure if i should go for the wheelstand pro or the fanatec rennesport wheel stand.
