Yep. If you start on options you have to change to primes and vice-versa. The only time that rule doesn't take effect is during a wet race. I believe that if the race is wet from the start OR it rains during the race doesn't matter in real life but whether Codemasters have made that apply in game I do not know.

anyone managed a 3rd season?

i finished my 2nd season as mclaren and won but didnt get:

the big one
"Meet the contract requirements of a Championship leading team"

are mclaren not a championship leading team?
 
SOrry for this thread revival, but anyone still play this game? I have just got it for PS3 and despite some minor foibles I think its pretty good! Best game ive played in quite a while!
 
Can't play more than one race at a time, everything takes so bloody long, practice qualify and race, best part of 2 hours gone.

I have to admit i am finding that is taking a large amount of time to progress the smallest amount! Enjoyable though.
 
I've had this since launch but hardly had any time to play it. I've got \ MS Wheel and Wheel stand pro now and it is simply brilliant.

Question: I'm onto Qualifying now and just wondered if there is Q1, Q2 and Q3 or is it just one Qualifying session?

It's split up into 3 as per real life, there may be options to skip parts of it though depending on what settings you pick to start with.
