Not for a system that will be overclocked or running high end hardware.

150W lower but will be more power consistent and way more reliable if you are running a high end system.

The CPU cable is a little small for some Motherboards but with a extender cable this is easily overcome(Ive owned this psu btw)

The rest of the cables are fine

Whats your budget for a psu and what specs to be powered ?

850W is a beasty psu tbh im only running a 650W and im powering a i7 overclocked and a GTX 480 heavily Overclocked.

A decent 650W psu will power most high end machines that are running single video cards?

Will you be running SLI or Xfire?

are we talking about that corsair, the only thing I would have slagged it off for was that it just has two pcie connectors, and maybe because it's not modular.

i believe were talking about the coolermaster with the gts 450 spec.

Not being modular is absolutely ridiculous to criticize,Modular are also a lot more expensive especially for the OP £60 budget
