Castle Combe Rally Day - Anyone going?

Well i went, i thought it was brilliant !
Was in love with that Skoda fabia !
The size of them rear tyres on the lancia stratos !

Yeah was good and weather held out. Some great drifting in the sideways session. Been about 4 or 5 times now so will give it a miss next year and go to Goodwood maybe.

The weather was really quite overcast in the afternoon, but it was bright in the morning. I even got sunburn!

I'm going to give Goodwood a try aswell next year, but i though rallyday was really good and a nice change from all the chavs at japfest !
 
Cool! You got shots of the biodiesel and formula ford cars that I'll be working on for the next three years too! :D

you lucky sod ! You doing a motorsport degree with them i guess? would have loved to do one myself. What grades did you need to get one? I'm currently doing nvq level 3 in a vw garage.
 
I'm doing a 2 year foundation with a year after to get a full degree from the university of bath. As it's a foundation I only needed 5 gcse's a to c and 80 UCAS points and once Ive passed the foundation I'll get automatically accepted for the full degree course.

The advantage with this course is that it's extremely on the job based compared to most other degrees which is why I chose this one. I start tomorrow. I can't wait! :D

It's actually a huge change in direction for me cos I wanted to originally do geography, but after realising I'd just end up being a teacher and I dont enjoy it that much, I decided to do something I loved.
