Ok so Ive finally made choice of what to buy thanks to some posters here and im just wondering where im heading.

This is what im going for.

AMD Athlon II X3 Tri Core 440 3.00GHz (Socket AM3) - Retail

Asus M4A78LT-M 760G (Socket AM3) DDR3 Motherboard

Corsair XMS3 4GB (2x2GB) DDR3 10666C8 1333MHz Dual-Channel (CMX4GX3M2A1333C8)

XFX ATI Radeon HD 4890 1024MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card (Went for this and not 460(

Cooler Master GX 550W Power Supply

Now my question here:

CoD: WaW = FPS ?
MW2 = FPS ?
TF2 = FPS ?
Oblivion = FPS ?
Fallout 3 = FPS ?

hi what about changing the psu to the Be Quiet! E7 600w or the OCZ ModXStream Pro 500w Modular PSU.
and whats the reason why you cant get the gtx460 may i ask

i have the hd5830 and am getting around 90-100fps on it any map any action so you should probaly be expexting FPS on most games around 40-50fps+ but thats only a VERY rough estimate best bet is to wait for more replys

i would go for a 460/5770 now, as the ati 6 series is coming you will be buying into old old tech

Cant go for the BS PSU as I already bought the other one
And im not a fan of nvidia

Any more guesses of what FPS would be like on the above specifications ?

To be honest, why not go to Anandtech and see what your cpu and gpu will give you and then find the bottleneck?

Personally I have no experience with your cpu and cannot remember any benchmarks for it, but the 4890 is a very capable card and should not be outperformed by the 5830 mentioned above. If your other specifications match or exceed the ones of that poster, you will be looking at better fps.

But honestly, just look at benchmarks. All that anyone else will give you here would either be based on said benchmarks or just personal opinions or guesses.
