£1500 budget for multi use PC... Spec for a friend

Okay Guys,

Basically I'm stumped as to exactly what to recommend... A good friend of mine wants a fantastic multi use computer, Mainly for gaming and surfing the net though he want's the option of watching TV etc so has to be able to function as a HTPC also... has Window's 7 home premium, and either two dell 24" ultra sharps or one 27" once he decides, Has good Speaker's, Keyboard and mouse etc

So guys what can you recommend?

Periperals as specced for gaming

Quality power supply, which is quiet.

Overall a fast and quiet gaming PC, which could be used as a media and gaming hub.

In regards to getting a monitor, your friend might have make sacrifices on this spec, or increase budget.

Depends what you mean by good speakers, there's no chance you'll get two 24" Ultra Sharps or a 27" Ultra sharp, good speakers (a decent 5.1 system) and a gaming PC for <£1500.

Did this mean he has these already, or he wants this in his spec? If the former, ignore my suggestion (obviously)
 
Yeah he is getting the monitor's seperatley, has everything else, sorry if that wanst clear!!!!
