Hi,

I was hoping to get some help buying some parts to upgrade my pc, my budget is pretty low but I already have some parts. Here is what I already have:

monitor, case, hard drive, dvdrw, keyboard/mouse

so I guess all I'm looking for is, CPU, mobo, ram, gfx and psu. I already have an OS to put on it.

The pc is needed for some light gaming and general usage.

Any advice would be much appreciated.

Thanks

terrible budget.

what about getting a board with on board graphics and just use that and save for a while and see what happens to prices when new ati cards come out

Hello mijilea,

the boys more or less got it spot on . . . good move to leave out the GPU for the moment and use the onboard graphics . . . in the future when you have some more cash and you fancy some gaming then you can pop in a nice PCI-E 2.0 x16 GPU! . . . there is no problem using a uATX mobo unless you have heaps of add-in cards!
