Evening all,
I've purchased the above system from overclockers, should receive it sometime this week. My question to you is....... with the following list of components and the monitor I have chosen, would it be worth purchasing another Saphire 5570 and running them in crossfire? I've seen 1 somewhere else for £65 quid delivered. Is it worth me taking the plunge??

System is-

"Ultima Raptor" AMD Phenom II X6 Six Core 1090T Black Edition 3.20GHz @ 4.00GHz DDR3 System

Corsair H50-1 High-Performance CPU Watercooler (Socket LGA775/1156/1366/AM2/AM3)

Corsair Force 40GB F40 2.5" SATA-ll Solid State Drive (CSSD-F40GB2-BRKT)

Sapphire ATI Radeon HD 5570 1024MB GDDR3 PCI-Express Graphics Card (Display-Port Edition)

Samsung SM2333SW 23" Widescreen LCD Monitor

I can't amend the order now its too late! :-(

Hence why I'm thinking of picking up another card and installing it myself....

No point in crossfiring the 5570. If you don't plan to game, it should be alright for other stuff. What do you need to do on the PC?
 
If you plan to game the 5570 will struggle with that monitor. You need at least a 5770 to be able to play games well, or as Jony27 suggested, a GTX460 (1gb model if possible). Oh boy... the 5770 was only £31.91 more then the 5570 :p 460 768mb being £42.55 more with that system!

How would i fair in trying to change my order to include a Sapphire ATI Radeon HD 5830 1024MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card.

Ideally i'd like to crossfire in a few months. Am i rght in assuming with the motherboard in this system sli is not supported, hence i'd be stuck with 1 gtx 460?

If you can stretch to a 5830, stretch a little further. 2 games included as well.
