Sell WoW to me

Can send you a 10day free trial if you want

I enjoyed it levelling upto 80, seeing the lvl80 content but the guild I went with aren't really ones for pushing themselves so I got a bit bored lol

I'm not a hater, but there's little point in starting now. The reputation that built WoW up to where it is now is because of what the game used to be, it's now a shadow of what it was. Unless you already have serious time invested into the game, and don't want to give that up, i see no reason for anyone to be playing it anymore.

Especially with all the next-gen MMOs right around the corner.

Gah I was hoping I could have sold you my account! :p

This is what I would have said personally. Can see why I a lot of people still like/love it but its not for me anymore.

It is a major time and money hole. I wouldn't buy it!

I know loads of people who got into it and the rest of their life suffered! lol

Try the trial and make your own opinion of it.

Don't listen to anyone else because you'll get the same responses such as:

Positive - "It's very enjoyable", "It's easy to get into", "I've made a lot of friends through it".

Negative - "It'll ruin your life", "You'll turn into a mega-loser", "You won't get laid".

Pro's

- It's well established
- has good end game content
- Has a good sizeable userbase
- Has plenty of content
- Some of the best MMO PvE

Con's

- Userbase is mostly kids, plenty of idiots.
- PvP is good, but the arena system fails it.
- Lack of a decent community (mainly due to age gap)
- Is too caring, if you've played full loot mmo's before, it'll dissapoint you if you go in with the wrong mindset.
- No guild loyalty, you'll make friends but most of them will only be temporary
- Paid content expansions
- You may become slightly addicted
- it's quite a grind and most of the quests are boring and repetetive
- It's mainly gear dependant unless you're very skilled

Give the free trial a go, to me it's completely ruined ever since the expansions.

Darkfall/Mortal Online should really be the standard of MMO's.

I had a great time on it for a month or so, about 3/4 years ago. Got to a point where I had explored everything I would ever be able to and it got boring after that. When I say explored everything, I mean everything that was possible without spending vast amount of time playing and 'dedication' to a guild.
I played quite a bit at times but some people are just wack.

I was in a great guild but left the game. A year or so later I spend about week playing again but the guild went all hardcore and everything was closely guarded by something called dragon points, never stayed long enough to find out what that was. All the nice chatty (funny!) casual players had left.

This was all before any expansion came out. So i would say give it ago, you might have some fun, all depends on what you like.

to keep it short, it used to be an amazing game, its now not that great anymore but im sure someone new would find it entertaining and as mentioned above you can try the trial for 10days to see it for yourself.
just a warning though, the community is terrible.

To simplfy, the game has lost a large part of its soul since the first and second expansions.

To be honest, the most enjoyable part for me by far was leveling for the first time, especially because it was my first MMORPG. All went downhill from there though. Friends was what kept me playing for two years mainly.

I would wait for the Star wars or possibly the Warhammer 40k MMO if it was me :) Or Mortal Online is six months.

WOW is getting a lovely reboot when its new expansion is released later this year. This is due to completely changing every zone in the game to reflect the changing storyline of the "lore", which is prompting most of the player base to reroll either instantly or at some point after its release. Sure it might not have the best graphics ever or sound effects but the combat is still very good, the PVE content is probably the best in the business although the PVP still needs a lot of work as many don't find arena interesting at all and its packed with epeen rubbing kiddies.
