Ok, some background info. I train Muay Thai 6 days a week, around 4 hours a day (morning and afternoon session).
For the last ~10 days I have been 'stuck' at between 104 and 105kilos. On Friday just gone I did not train and left for Hong Kong, came back Sunday evening. I took a break from training Mon and Tues and went back for the first time since Thursday of last week in this afternoons session.
Over the Fri>Sunday time I did not eat particularly well due to the hectic schedule. Even a McDonalds chicken nugget meal or 2 in there. Not great but I was starving and had no real choice. Anyway, that's besides the point.
I weigh myself today and I am 102.0 dead. Why stuck for 10 days at 105 and then go away, don't train for 5 days, don't eat great and manage to drop 3 kilos?
I have heard of calorie bursting, is it something like this? Even though the food was not great, I don't think I was taking in a HUGE amount of calories though.
I am quite baffled, it's not the first time it happened. I was 118kg and out for a week with an injury and went back at 115. I did not eat badly but I had no real exercise.
Any ideas?
