Hi Guys,

Getting my sister a new phone for her Birthday. Any suggestions on what is good value these days as I'm out of touch. Anything sub £100 considered.

She has had an old Motorola L6 for ages now so anything is going to be a step up. She texts more than she calls, so a decent keypad would be good.

Ideally needs to be unlocked or locked to Vodafone as she wants to stick with Vodafone.

Any suggestions would be great!

nokia C3 as far as im aware is a more basic E63 so have a look out for a good e63 deal if you can (not sure if you can get one <£100 on payg)

although the E63 doesnt come in pink like the C3

Thanks guys. She would kill me if I got anything Pink.

The C3/E63 looks like a blackberry type phone. Any suggestions for a more traditional one?

I was about to say c3 myself. I do believe LG do a few with a keyboard and touch screen. But I also dislike LG for the uci. For normal phones you got that Nokia 6600? Isn't it.

You could get a Android for that amount as well but its overkill for this really

The c3 and e63 are quite wide but there slim and very comfortable to use to txt once you get used to the KB

LG GT540? Apparently the C3 has a rubbish screen, at least the LG is essentially a fully-featured smartphone in one way or another.

Then there's the T-Mobile Pulse...

Yeah that is what I read.

Unfortunately while the LG GT540 looks good it does completely blow the £100 budget.

Yeah I saw that, no idea if you can unlock it without purchasing an unclock code anyways. Which I expect will be £20+.

I think there are only services. Just wondering about the touch screen, heard it isn't that great.

nokia 5530 xpressmusic,

smart phone for sub £100 if your lucky, top phone for the money! check the specs, i think it beats everything in the range.
