Mass Effect 1+2 worth playing?

Yes, yes and yes.

Lost count of how many times i've completed it, and with the dlc it's a game you can't go wrong with imo

I found the first one a bit slow to get going at first, took a bit of perseverance for me to keep going but I'm glad I have. Still in the middle of playing through it, but it's very good.

It took me a while to get into Mass Effect 2 also.

When I've completed ME2 it might be sound stupid but I might go and play ME1.

Don't you find ME1 janky after playing ME2? I love the way they improved the biotics on ME2 - faster recharge / guided projectiles, etc. The only thing I didn't like was Unity requiring medigel. I often ran out of the stuff and found myself up the swannie.

That's precisely what I hated about ME2!

What's the point in multiple biotics/abilities if they all have the same cool-down time? :(

I loved spamming all my biotics on entering a room and decimating the geth :D Followed by the panic of waiting for them to recharge :p

Currently playing ME2, had a nice bonus from importing my rich, high lvl character from ME1.
Loved the first one and definitely loving the second. Hated the mini games in the first but the ones in ME2 are actually not too bad.

All in all £20 (for both - I shopped around!) very very very very very very well spent.

Short answer to your question, OP, is a resounding

YES!

Where has this renewed interest in Mass Effect come from? Announcement at GamesCom for PS3 version or just cheaper prices on ME2? :D
