Fox News Comments - racists and bigots oh my!

I'll tell you everything that you need to know about Fox News in one sentence: They won a legal case ruling that their news is protected by Free Speech laws to the extent that the news they report is not legally required to be true.

If only that were true sweetie

You're right, I really don't want to be your one and only friend.

Oh, be careful about 'sweetie' as the right-whingers may get uppity:

Fox News is for entertainment value, i.e. are these hicks really that ****ing stu- oh wait, yeah.

The sad thing is Sky News tends to emulate it, what with BSkyB being under the News Corp umbrella. Sky News was once quite good, seems to be getting fairly trashy now. ITN News ***.

Fox really does paint a scary picture of Americans. The Daily Mail are just amusing and "Fiction" should be stamped on each paper, but Fox are just down right .

All I wanted to learn about Islam I learnt on 9/11

What's so "unethical" about burning a Quaran? This man is a hero. A leader. Someone who our children should look upto

Whip her and send her to the fields (RE Michelle Obama)

I'm now going to slowly steps back from the mad *******.

I love how they hate it because its a 'black' president, I hope he rubs it in their faces...atleast give people a damn chance

I know. It's not news, it's often literally lies with a news headline thrown in as an afterthought. The fact that this is common knowledge in America yet Fox is hugely successful is worrying in a Palin-for-President kind of way.

Is that true ? A rather scary thought! Do you have a source please?

Rupert Murdoch - "I own your thoughts"

Fox News . . . isn't that part of the lovely Rupert Murdoch's News Corporation media empire

Same as the News of the Screws, the Sun, the Times and Sky. Murdoch kindly supplied one of his leading propagandists (Andrew Colon, the ex-editor of the News of the Screws) to help David Cameron run the UK

It is but you're in the wrong thread. This is about American idiocy and a belief in proven fiction and lies but using amusing/shocking snippets from supporters/readers of the Fox website.

Not the Lib Dems or whoever it is you support. I forget :)

see 'nas - sly fox' . sums up fox perfectly

The only music which needs sly fox in it is Sly Fox with their solo hit - Let's Go All The Way. :p

Fox News is something rather special, being as it is almost entirely devoid of useful content, insightful commentary on the stories it purveys or even simply coherent journalism - it does however allow me to identify lots of people I never want to be stuck in a lift with and for that reason alone it serves a purpose.
