My mate is currently leading a poker tourney with £600,000 prize pool

Well done to him, must have been horrible having to wait around in the hope someone else goes out :p

On the plus side, he's not the short stack :)

Didn't realise Matt Jarvis was in this one too, he's at the WSOP ME final table for this year too!

£13.7k at least now!

He's up to 116,000, shoved twice to raises and wasn't called.

Latest update is he has 128,000 - level 20 just started, 5k/10k with a 1k ante.

He's done it again :D - Mendi Senhaji opened to 26,000, and the table folded around to the blinds. In the small, Paul Pitchford three-bet all in for 110,000, and that was enough to earn him the pot.

159,000 now!

Ouch:

Jomeen: {5-Diamonds} {5-Hearts}
Pitchford: {A-Clubs} {Q-Clubs}

Jomeen would be a big fan of the board, as it saved his tournament life. It came {10-Diamonds} {8-Clubs} {2-Clubs} {K-Diamonds} {7-Diamonds} to keep him afloat, doubling him up to 157,000. Pitchford, on the other hand, is in quite a bad way with just 60,000 left.

He's now doubled up though to 125,000 - He had A8 against 63 (!?!) and won that one :)

In a battle of the blinds, Scott Shelley shoved at Paul Pitchford's 50,000-chip stack, and the big blind called it off with {A-Hearts} {8-Clubs}. Shelly was working with a meager {3-Spades} {6-Spades}, but he was not in the worst spot to try for the 60-40 knockout. He even managed to make two pair as it came {A-Spades} {6-Clubs} {2-Hearts} {8-Spades} {3-Clubs}, but it was not as good as Pitchford's two pair.

Sounds good :)

Rotty anywhere in Vegas you'd recommend someone who's not played a 'proper' live game before can go to have a bash?

A week today and we're there :)

My mate Liv won like 1.4 million dollars recently playing poker. Nearly choked when I saw it on facebook! She was on the front page of the sun the next day, was shocked to say the least lol.

How do you know Liv? I was in halls with her at Uni :)

Small world.
