What games are affected by "strict" NAT?

Hi guys,

Now that I am at Uni, my NAT has gone to "strict"

MW2 is annoying me now as it takes so long to find a game, then usually its with people half way across the world.

I was playing BF:BC2 last night though and it found a game easily and was lag free...

Is it just MW2 that has issues with a strict NAT?

Ive only had problems with MW2 (still not sorted)

I have a 3rd router to try tonight, if not ill buy a modem/router in one and see if that helps.

If the latest router don't do the trick im confused, as i always used to play find with it, then gave it to my brother and he played fine with it.

I did "tweet" @fourzerotwo on Twitter to see if this problem was ever going to get sorted. But no reply (not suprised)

Halo will probably be affected by the same problem.

Halo is worse if anything than cod for what it checks for but seems to sort itself out easier.

Pretty much all games but mostly Halo 3 and COD

A strict NAT can affect any multiplayer game. You will find those with a higher player count worse however due to the sheer number of players, most of whom you won't be able to connect to.

When my NAT went to open to strict without changing any router settings (mind of it's own!) online co-op on Halo 3's campaign was god awful. Jerking every few seconds but it turned out to be the NAT settings, very strange as no other games were affected at all.
