My mate is currently leading a poker tourney with £600,000 prize pool

£40k from £1k buy in....not a bad return!

Does this guy do this for a living or is it still just a hobby for him?!

Half watching the last two players chip counts for a bit and til now, the win loss values have been the same whenever i've looked. ie. one goes +250k, the other -250k.

At the moment though it's showing one as +385k and the other as -395k... where did the other 10k of chips go? Did a leprechaun have off with them or something? :p

Thanks for all your support folks, just got back

well via a 4 hour pub detour courtesy of Paul buying all the beers :p

been a great weekend, Pual played superbly and deserved everything he got, best bit was watching him walk from the table with a smile on his face after being knocked out, anyone who knows him will know that is not Paul's usual reaction ;) he was as proud of what he achieved as we all were

next stop VEGAS BABY :D

Friday for those who haven't read all thread

Side issue, you should have seen the players in the HU, we gave up counting who was there and just decided to work out who wasn't, Obestrad and Brunson wwere all we could think of

oh and kudos to Huck Seed in a Liverpool shirt :p

Best I have ever made was a 1-2 finish with a mate of mine. £25 buy in, 40 tables. £1500 and £750 respectively. Dragged it out at the end but split for £1125 a pop. Nicest turn over i could have wished for. 7 hours of poker, some drinks and a cracking evening for little cash. Jobs a good'n!

Congrats to your mate there! £40k is certainly a bonus.
