I live about 10 miles from Gateshead and there has been nothing in the local news about this, never mind the national news, and the only source on the internet so far all links to the website posted to in the op.
I'm drawing my own conclusions unless this is substantiated... until then it's just internet myth & propoganda posted by some guy with a website

Considering that Christians aren't precious about the Bible like Muslims are with the Koran, nothing would happen, and that would be fair enough.

Not normally one for commenting on this kinda stuff, but if it's true watching a video in the privacy of your own home can get you arrested well sod em all.....Bring back hanging.

The offence was in telling others to watch it... And just who are you proposing to hang anyway? That bit doesn't make any sense.

I used to think life was sacred, that no man whatever the cause could justifiably take another life, but the more i watch world events and the terror attacks of the last few years, well i propose we do bring back hanging for convicted terrorists.

I live in gateshead and havent heard a thing. could pop into the pub where they were arrested and ask, doubt they would say anything though.

I think the act is actually called the Racial and Religious Hatred Act 2006. It's mostly concerned with religion I think but is an extension of the Public Order Act 1986 which sets out the laws regarding incitement to racial hatred.

That's my understanding anyway.
