Well my first build will be getting underway soon so I took apart an old pc to familiarize my self with what's inside a pc. My mum bought this about 5 years ago from Woolworths, I thought you guys might be interested in some shots of the internals.

That CPU cooler looks like it has a plant pot taped to it.

Must have been a pretty low power PC to not have any ventilation besides CPU and PSU. The inside of the case looks a bit like an old Advent mATX machine I bought years ago, only a little larger.

That's what I thought, the amount of noise that thing used to make when it got old and struggled playing videos was ridiculous. Oh and it a coolermaster CPU cooler.
Case dimensions are: 6"(W)x13"(H)x14"(D)

Damn i still wish i had the old computer my father decided to scrap.. it ran on 256mb of ram...and not much else haha. Twas hilarious... it also had a 1GB HDD... Yeah, that was a nifty little machine xD

Right..... not really that old, is it :P

Unless you're 13....

It's old to me, this was the first pc we bought and i was about 14 at the time, now 19 so it's getting on a bit. Obviously some of you will probably have systems older than me tucked away somewhere...

Not 2 much dust for 5 years but when it doesn't have any intake fans I guess it would be hard for dust to get in lol.
