Another spec me thread! (Sorry)

Tis a car I will be looking at when coming to replace the Alfa, purely down to there being quite a few (well kept up to now) of them locally. Mind you most of them are is220d's which dont float my bag, dervs.

lol no unfortunately not. I got picky (as you can tell from my earlier posts about scuffs etc)

That and the fact another pay day had passed when I purchased it, so my savings were at £11.5k

Then came along the bank of Mum and Dad :p

My step Dad had been with me on some of the trips to various dealers and saw the state of some of the cars I was looking at, and saw that I really liked his IS250, and to quote them

"You only live once Son, you can borrow the rest from us rather than pay a company interest"

Which was very generous of them to say the least, so the final price was £14850, so i borrowed just over 3k off them, which will be paid off in a year, with a nice treat for them both for lending me the money too

It was from a Lexus dealer hence the higher asking price, but comes with the approved used package (1 year full warranty/breakdown etc) So if anything should go wrong I can be straight back to them to look at

So yes, another spec me thread ended up completely different from the opening post :)

I got to drive the IS220d for a day and it really spoils the car, obviously less refined with regards to the engine and I didn't like the manual gearbox either, was so glad to get back in the petrol auto
