Which 3.0i for around 15k?

They still can't hide the fact that the guy/gal who designed the pre-LCI E90 backend was obviously blind, yes they ease the pain a bit but only a little bit.

Each to there own, I like the rear end on my E90 epically the split exhausts

My understanding of the variations of E60 air is as follows:

That car - AirCon
Climate control - Independent temperature control of the front two occupants but at the same positions (i.e. face / windscreen, face / feet is the same both sides). Commonly known as dual zone CC
Extended CC is the same as above but allows each user to define how much air is blown through any vent through iDrive.
There was also a 4 zone CC which covered the rear passengers independent temperatures too.

That isn't right. The car linked does have climate control, you set the temp and the car will do what it needs to to maintain the selected temp, it is single zone though.

Woo, someone understands :D

As far as I know, there are two types: The standard basic climate on the linked car, and an advanced climate which has a different faceplate. There may be different versions of the advanced too, as Lucero says.

Aircon (without climate control) is where the temperature of the air and fan speed needs to be set by the user, and this isn't the case on any e60.

There are only two types available on the E60, automatic air conditioning and automatic air conditioning with extended features.

It always annoyed me how rubbish the pre facelift e90 looks from the outside.

The worst bit is the rubbish halogen back lights which don't even illuminate the cluster properly.

I agree they look awful compared to the LCI ones.

Thats not just reasonably priced, its hugely cheap. Have to wonder why a dealer would sell that car for that little money - I suspect its cosmetic condition in the flesh leaves a lot to be desired.

If £12.5k was all it cost to get into a sub 100k, half decent facelift LCI 530i M Sport, I'd buy one.

Apart from full leather I cant see anything listed that doesn't come as standard. Maybe the price reflects that.

Given your e39 was high miles when you bought it, are you looking for a lower mileage this time around?
