he has a fair point, now we pay for studying, a lot of university just aren't upto scratch and more than likely brake advertising rules.

Useless without the whole story to be honest. It could very possibly be true that he didn't get enough support. I know how hard engineering degrees are. Without proper support from lecturers, tutors and the uni itself I could imagine it being very hard to pass with a good grade.

On the other hand it doesn't say how he tried to get support through his time there, if he tried and failed to recieve the necessary support then fair play. If not, then, man up and accept it.

Actually. I agree with this.

Teaching is so very much the inconvenient and extra bit of the job professors and researchers have to do in order to hold a university post. It's really quite clear some can't be bothered with it at times.

To be fair as well though, with previous government's drive to push more students into higher education there are far more that won't last/are lazy/are druggies/are crap. You can see the difference it intelligence and why some professors can't be arsed.
