Difficulty wise how does this compare to playing forza 3 on the hardest setting?
I had a go last night in a fully tuned koenigsegg around catalunya using a pad, automatic gears though. Which was pretty hard but just about manageable.
I play Forza 3 with only TCS on and use manual gears... With the pad (get used to manual gears with F3... It's the only way to play) on the hardest setting of AI... I can confirm, F1 2010 is a lot harder on the AI difficulties lol, I am playing on medium and am just keeping it in my pants to get into the top 10... Last night, I came 24th due to sliding out a few times and thought I would keep in the spirit of realism by finishing the race and not restarting.
I spent a good 2 hours last night going round a circuit adjusting the assists, all I have on is TCS and racing line. Will remove racing line once I have found out my personal lines in the game and tcs when I get a wheel.
I use manual gears as well as after playing last night I was previously on automatic. The thing is, in auto, a 3rd gear corner could come up from a long 5th gear... the game wouldn't change down at the right time so you run wide. With manual you can get the gears right and get into the corner perfectly.

edit: For those playing in the 'above' cockpit view, please refrain and go to the inside cockpit view... I understand why you go to above so you can see the track, but honestly, once you get used to the inside cockpit view, it is beyond rewarding

Nothing like hitting a back straight flat out with another racer along side you, constantly watching him and waiting for him to brake so you can outbreak him. Playing chicken at 200mph is fun
