Not at all, its only now picking up again. We got 10 - 20 guys on our mumble a night playing this + The new Vietnan mod is out soon.... personally i'l be playing this until BF3 comes out!

Unfortunately not. You can still add it as a 'non Steam game' and use the chat overlay etc.
