What do spider bites look like?

Have come down with a sudden flu like illness, really sudden as in I felt absolutely fantastic last night and woke up this morning with sore muscles, achy head, sore throat and general mehness.

Struggled into work but gave up after a couple of hours and came home after sitting next to a roasting radiator and still shivering.

On closer inspection, there appears to be a bite mark on my hand. 2 Small red marks, close together in between my pinky and finger. These are slightly raised and have some dark skin around them (could be blood)? I'm about 90% sure I didn't have this last night when I went to bed.

Anyways, not looking for medical advice but does this sound like a spider bite and could I have been bitten during the night?

Who cares about wasting the Doctors time, you pay your tax's for what?, if your concerned about your health then see the Doc or ring up NHS direct.

That is most definitely a spider bite, probably from the Brazilian Wandering spider as seen here:

He will have infiltrated your country by way of hiding in banana bunches.
